2. I find the song, On the Ocean by K-Jon compelling to me because, it explains who I am really am. And who I'm living for and that's God. It explains what I've want in life, and looking forward to in the Future.
3. Listening to On the Ocean gives me goosebumps, because the melody and the lyrics is like a supernatural feeling. Every time I listen to this song, I just feel like dancing. These lyrics relate to life and It really does feel like everything is passing me by whenever I listen to it. This song describes a lot, because the lyrics are so strong that it lifts everything off my shoulders. When I'm down or don't feel like being bothered, this is one of the songs that I can listen to all day and don't get tired of it.
4. I think music is able to appeal to many people because some of the songs relate to people and what they are going through. Some songs talk about love, relationships, hardships, life, and etc Lyrics can explain a lot about a person and sometimes help you get through something that you are going through. I think music has a strong influence in people's live, because some people look up to music to get through situations.

From the Detroit paper, I found "Robert Bobb tells cancer fight, regrets about DPS" headline, I found this most interesting because why would Robert finally come clean about his cancer fight, why did he tell the world that he had cancer and was fighting it?
From the Israel paper, I found "Railway workers union leaders released from prison" headline and It caught my eye. I found this most interesting because why would the railway workers leaders be released from prison, what happen to them that made them be released?
From the India paper, I found "The day Mamata posed as lover to fool cops" headline most interesting, because why would Mamata posed as a lover to fool the cops?
From the Cuba paper, I found "Alarcon calls on the revolutionary press to unite effortsa"headline most interesting, because why would Alarcon call on the revolutionary press to unite effortsa, what made him do that?
From the Czech paper, I found "Not your typical Prague market" headline most interesting, because why would they call the headline not your typical prague market, what makes this so bad and make the headline stand out?

In the Israel paper, I found the most interesting headline, "Railway workers union leaders released from prison". Well, I found that the reason why they were released is because there was a strike among the railway workers that were arrested after putting up a demonstration outside the house of Israel.

The Big Six
When we did this activity on Tuesday, I had no idea which companies went with what. My predictions for "The Big Six" wasn't that close, some were and some weren't. But I was surprised at the fact that a lot of people watch these companies, and continue to watch them and the companies get so many views. I think that's probably why they have a lot of control over the media. But I was really surprised by the actual companies included in The Big Six because, I never knew the names of these companies and who made them, until now.. I think the thing that makes these companies, are the people around the world because of it being world wide, it has so many hits and views. I think the reason why people made these companies is because to make the media more noticeable. And advertising has to do with part of it too. I think the advantages of having six major companies in control of the media is being encourage by people that watch these companies. I do believe the disadvantages of having six major companies in control of the media is influencing people and doing the wrong things and having to deal with the companies taking over the media. The thing that stands out to me in this activity is that people like and watch a lot of stuff. And more and more is adding to it. The other thing that stands out is that there are a lot of people viewing these shows that the companies made. I think the Big Six is most memorable in this activity because I had to figure out which of the companies made what, and that was pretty difficult. I do believe that the Big Six have a lot of control over the media, because of what to show and who's watching.

The thing that surprised me about this is that the companies turn it into a show and make it seem like reality. The thing I don't get is why they do things like that. I don't feel that this is right because whatever those teens are doing they are giving ideas out to people and other people are going to be influenced by them and going to start acting the way they act. I do agree with what the video said, that the real world "media is only a mirror", I agree because what is happening on TV is what's happening in real life. People are being influenced by it.
