1. I think that ethics are declaring the American society, because half of the world is having Ethical behavior. They don't care, they just want the work done. Even if you do tell people to stop, they are going to keep doing it until they get what they want even if it does take a long time to do so. Its like a reverse to people, when you tell them they can't, they will. And I believe that. People don't understand what kind of damage they would cause if they plagiarize.
2. I think schools should put a lock on every website that they don't need to be on. That will push them not to do plagiarism. If not, then they are going to keep doing it, and students think that it's okay because the website is free to get on. They don't understand the damage of what can happen to them if they do plagiarize. Honestly, I don't know what to do to improve students not to do this outside of school, because either way it goes, they are going to do. I do understand if they don't understand anything they just look it up things they need help with, but don't copy every word down, because teachers can easily say that you plagiarize because some of the words that are used.
I agree with you when you said “It’s like a reverse to people, when you tell them they can't, they will.” When people are restricted it makes them wonder why they can’t do something, causing them to sneak around to do the very thing they were told not to do. However I disagree with your second point. I don’t think blocking websites at school will stop plagiarism. The sites student plagiarize off of are sites they need to use to get information. So I don’t think it’s blocking the sites so much as enforcing more plagiarism rules.
